Li is a design leader and hands-on product builder with 14 years of experience in design research and 12 years in product design. She creates elegantly functional digital experiences and builds the organizational capabilities that help design teams and businesses succeed.

Her recent work sits at the intersection of UX and AI. She currently leads design for mission-critical AI/ML-enabled products and independently designs and builds agentic AI systems. Her work explores persistent memory and context, multi-agent interaction, human oversight, transparency, and trust—including Sostenuto, an open-source, user-owned memory system for AI agents, and a local-first multi-agent platform.

Previously, Li served as Senior Manager of UX Design and Customer Experience Strategy at National Student Clearinghouse serving 97% of U.S. higher education institutions. She has also led high-impact work at Company 1 and Company 2.

With a penchant for scale, she has built design operations and systems that reduced redundancy and time to market by 60%, allowing designers to reclaim more of their time for innovation and strategic thinking.
